The Chardonnay Gold Label Monterey County of the Francis Ford Coppola Diamond Collection originates from the vineyards of Monterey, California. It is mainly produced with Chardonnay grapes and with small additions of Viognier and Riesling grapes, harvested entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 9 months in French oak barrels, before being bottled.
